On April 6, 2020, the California Judicial Council enacted California Rules of Court Emergency Rules 1- 11. These emergency rules were enacted to protect the health and safety of the public, court employees, attorneys, litigants, and judicial officers, as well as staff and inmates in detention facilities, and law enforcement during the state of emergency related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Jurors who are not feeling well are encouraged to stay home and may contact Jury Services to reschedule their jury duty. You can also postpone your jury duty electronically, by logging into the jury system using your Juror ID and PIN provided to you on your jury summons. Jury clerks are also available by phone at (415) 444-7120, between the hours of 1:00 to 3:00 PM and by email at jury@marincourt.org.

California Courts Self Help Center On-Line
Department of Child Support Services
DCSS works with parents — custodial and noncustodial — and guardians to ensure children and families receive court-ordered financial and medical support.
Family & Children’s Law Center

Lawyer Referral Service
For referrals to pre-screened, experienced Marin County attorneys in a variety of legal areas, please call the Marin San Francisco Lawyer Referral Service at (415) 989-1616. Certified by the California State Bar Association, the program provides referrals to qualified lawyers. Preliminary consultations are available at discounted fees. Bilingual attorneys are available.

This program offers free 20-minute consultations at the Marin County Law Library every second and fourth Thursday of each month from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Any person without an attorney living in Marin County or having a case in the Marin County Superior Court is eligible.
